I started this blog when I entered the 2016 London Marathon and the original idea was to help with my fund raising effort for Links International. Running really is not my thing!
My main dislike for running stems from being born with vertical talipes. This meant I was born with my right foot against my shin and after surgery spent 9 months in plaster. In effect I now have a fused ankle joint and I am completely flat footed. It flipping hurts to run!
As time has gone by the blog has broadened out to include a vlog with my eldest daughter and some general thoughts and musings of a 41 year old. As with running, writing is not really my thing either as I am dyslexic, so please forgive any silly errors!
In the summer of 2016 I stepped down from being CEO of WRM Media the business I co founded in 2003 to start a couple of boutique ecommerce sites Social Lenses and Walter George Engineering and to focus on making my life a little less complicated and to explore how I could start giving more back, living out my Christian faith more fully.
